CBGB's comes to Club 85 with the return of 'Bootleg Blondie' following SELL OUT shows in 2023 and 2024; expect to hear some of the greatest hits across a vast back catalogue inc:
- Heart of Glass, Dreaming, Union City Blue, The Tide Is High, Rapture, Atomic, Hanging on the Telephone, (I'm Always Touched by Your) Presence Dear, In the Flesh, Rip Her to Shreds, One Way or Another, Picture This, Sunday Girl, Maria, In the Flesh, Denise, Call Me and many more.
Debbie Harris, lead vocalist of Bootleg Blondie, has the looks, the voice and the attitude of the original Blondie bombshell and like her heroine is typically outrageous on stage. She has been known to wear dustbin liners, thigh length boots and t-shirts with more holes than t-shirt!
Established in 2001, BB are the only tribute to have performed with two founder members of Blondie, legendary drummer Clem Burke who sadly is no longer with us, and singer songwriter, bass player and prolific author Gary Valentine. The band played CBGB in New York City back in 2006 and are unique in that not only have they had the honour to be thanked on Blondie’s 11th studio album ‘Pollinator’ but also toured the UK in 2019 with Clem Burke on drums to celebrate 40 years since the release of Blondie’s iconic album Parallel Lines!

Downstairs bar open until 1am.
We are just a 5-minute stroll from the station.; like all our gigs this show finishes well in time for the last trains North and South to Cambridge, Peterborough and London.
