Bootle Explored

We’re delighted to announce Bootle Explored - a brand new community project designed to examine Bootle’s rich history through the lens of amateur photography.

Open to any resident within the area, of any age and level of expertise behind a camera, the course is an opportunity for local residents to deepen their understanding of their community and develop their photography skills in the process.

Under the expert guidance of renowned local photographer Paul O'Hanlon, each Thursday we will meet to discuss the weekly area of interest, before heading out on foot to put their new-found knowledge to practise.

The course will culminate in an exhibition featuring the work of each participant, with the subsequent prints then distributed back within the local communities.

Places are extremely limited and all sign ups must commit to each weekly session. Big thanks to Sefton CVS and the National Lottery Heritage Fund for their support.
