Our First Anniversary Party at Low Places
ONE WHOLE YEAR OF BOOT SCOOTIN’! 👢❤️
On Friday 6th November 2026, we’re celebrating the FIRST ANNIVERSARY of Boot Scootin’ Line Dancing — and there was absolutely no way we were letting our first birthday pass quietly! 😂🔥
One year of line dancing. One year of country music. One year of new friendships, song swaps, questionable footwork, “just one more dance!” and so many incredible memories.
So we’re taking over Low Places Bar in Birmingham for a proper Boot Scootin’ birthday celebration, with:
💃 Social line dancing🎤 LIVE country music from Kelain James🛍️ Western vendors & shopping🎶 Requests & Boot Scootin’ favourites🍕 Amazing food🍻 Drinks & proper honky-tonk atmosphere🎉 And one BIG first birthday party!
And just so nobody turns up expecting a lesson…
⚠️ THIS IS NOT A CLASS — THERE WILL BE NO TEACHING!
For one night, we’re putting the lessons away and simply DANCING! 💃🔥
No stopping every eight counts. No breaking down the steps. No “5, 6, 7, 8…” 😂
This is a social line dancing event, celebrating all the dances we’ve learned and loved over Boot Scootin’s first year.
Expect old favourites, country classics, song swaps and plenty of YOUR requests throughout the night.

We’re SO excited to have Kelain James performing LIVE from 7:30–8:30pm! 🤠🎤🔥
What better way to kick off our first anniversary than with an hour of live country music in the middle of Birmingham’s honky-tonk?
Grab yourself a drink, sing along, enjoy the music and get ready to hit the dance floor afterwards.
And keep your eyes peeled… 👀

We already have FOUR Western vendors confirmed, with TWO MORE potentially joining us! 🤠🛍️
Throughout the evening you’ll have the chance to shop for a brilliant selection of Western and country-inspired clothing, jewellery, accessories and other goodies from independent businesses.
We’ll be revealing our vendors individually in the run-up to the party, so keep watching for those announcements! ❤️
🕖 HOW THE NIGHT WILL WORK
🎉 7:00–7:30PM — DOORS OPEN, REGISTRATION & WRISTBAND COLLECTION
The celebrations begin! 🤠🎉
Arrive, check in and collect your wristband, grab yourself a drink, browse the Western market and get settled in before our live entertainment begins.
🎤 7:30–8:30PM — KELAIN JAMES LIVE
We’re kicking off the night in proper country style with Kelain James performing LIVE! 🎶🔥
Grab a drink, enjoy the music and soak up the Low Places atmosphere.
👢 8:30–9:30PM — SOCIAL LINE DANCING
BOOTS ON — IT’S DANCE FLOOR TIME! 💃🤠🔥
One full hour of Boot Scootin’ favourites, country classics, song swaps and your requests.
Remember — NO teaching tonight. This one is purely social!
🎤 FROM 9:30PM — MORE PARTY TO COME…

Once the live entertainment is finished, we’re getting those boots straight back onto the dance floor for more line dancing, requests, country music and anniversary celebrations! 🔥

Our Western vendors will be there throughout the evening, giving you plenty of opportunity to browse and shop between the music and dancing.

We genuinely couldn’t imagine celebrating our first anniversary anywhere else. ❤️🤠
Low Places has become such a huge part of the Boot Scootin’ story, and Mike and the whole team have been absolutely amazing in giving us a home where we can dance, laugh, meet new people and grow this little community of ours.
If you’ve never been to Low Places before… you’re in for a treat. 🔥
It’s a proper American-style dive bar and honky-tonk right here in Birmingham, with an amazing selection of drinks — including American beers and drinks imported all the way from the USA. 🇺🇸🍺
And then there’s the PIZZA. 🍕👀
Seriously… COME HUNGRY. 😂
The pizza is absolutely unreal and, as far as we’re concerned, some of the best in town!
So grab yourself a pizza and a drink, browse the Western market, listen to live country music and then get those boots onto the dance floor.

It’s the people who walked into their first class nervous and left smiling.
The people who came alone and ended up making friends.
The people who swore they had “two left feet” and are now flying around the dance floor. 😂
The regulars who somehow know exactly which dance is coming from the first three seconds of a song.
The requests shouted across the room.
The song swaps.
The laughs.
The friendships.
And, of course, all those mistakes that mysteriously became “variations.” 👀😂
Most importantly, it’s every single person who kept showing up and helped turn Boot Scootin’ into the community it is today.
So this anniversary isn’t just about celebrating Boot Scootin’.
