About this Event

Organized by the Center for Indonesia’s Strategic Development Initiatives (CISDI), Indonesian-based non-profit organisation that aims to promote health sector development and strengthen health systems through research, advocacy and participatory interventions, this side event aims to provide a platform for local governments and civil society organizations to share their experiences, challenges, and successes in implementing cross-sectoral collaborations in SRMNCAH+N issues.

By showcasing practical examples and effective strategies, the event aims to inspire broader adoption of these approaches worldwide. The emphasis on local-level partnerships ensures that solutions are tailored to the unique needs and contexts of different communities, making them more sustainable and impactful.

Through this event, we aim to spark a global shift in the direction of more robust and resilient health systems that are better equipped to handle the intricate and interrelated problems associated with SRMNCAH+N.


Objectives

  • Discussing the urgency of measuring social and environmental impacts for SRMNCAH+N outcomes and how collaborative efforts can bridge gaps between local governments and community organizations.
  • Explore the potential policy and institutional implications of successful multisectoral and multistakeholder approaches to SRMNCAH+N, and the implementable tools, such as Health Impact Assessment (HIA) and Health Lens Analysis, that can be developed and applied in the process.
  • Provide a platform for participants to share knowledge, tools, experiences, and insights on addressing SRMNCAH+N through multisectoral collaboration.
