About this Event
Boosterism is a new Liverpool ensemble exploring the outer limits of jazz with a bit of fun and a good dose of groove.
The trio – sometimes a quartet – is anchored around the drumming of Melodic Distraction Radio’s host and jazz DJ Jab (Speakeasy Bootleg Band, MD3 and The 25th of May) and keyboard whiz Andy Wileman (Bop Kaballa, MD3). They draw on guest soloists to keep the music fresh, live, and improvised.
Boosterism takes jazz, hip-hop, rock, funk and soul tunes, straps on a couple of rockets and blasts off into the groove universe.
Live music at The Caledonia are always free to attend. No reservation needed.
This show starts at 9pm, there will be two sets with an interval.Food is served until 9pm, bar is open until 12.
