About this Event
Slow and steady writes the story. Women Writing for (a) Change invites you to a four-part, free community writing circle series every Saturday in April at local bookstores! Collect stamps on your Library Checkout Card at each event. Attend all four and be entered into a raffle for a future class sampler.
Why the Snail? Snails have had many symbolic meanings across cultures, including patience, perseverance, and resurrection.
This spring we invite you to explore ”Snailing down,” as in, to slow down significantly, moving at a very leisurely pace, like a snail, implying a deliberate and noticeable reduction in speed or activity level. What better way to do that than at our local independent bookstores, where we can savor words and writing and community?
Join the snail trail, slow down, connect, and celebrate stories with us!
