☕📚 In celebration of the National Year of Reading 2026, we have launched Books & Brews - a readers’ group designed to welcome new members, encourage social connection and celebrate reading for pleasure in a relaxed, friendly space.
📖May: Thrown by Sara Cox - the debut novel from the popular broadcaster brings a quartet of unsatisfied women together in a newly established pottery class in tender-hearted and warmly hilarious prose.
📖June: Bonkers by Jennifer Saunders - A funny, moving and frankly bonkers memoir, filled with laughter, friends and occasional heartache from the much loved comedian.
🌈Everyone is welcome — no pressure, no homework!
📚Copies of our chosen books are available from the library counter.
No booking is needed — just drop in for good conversation, warm drinks and great books!
