☕📚 In celebration of the National Year of Reading 2026, we have launched Books & Brews - a readers’ group designed to welcome new members, encourage social connection and celebrate reading for pleasure in a relaxed, friendly space.
📖 July: Still Life by Sarah Winman - From the author of When God Was a Rabbit comes the enchanting tale of an unlikely friendship between a British soldier and an alleged spy in a wartime Tuscany ripe with colour and the ghosts of the past.
📖August: The Summer Book by Tove Jansson - A beautiful, understated examination of platonic love and profound friendship from the Nordic maestro, The Summer Book basks in the glow of a long Finnish summer as an elderly artist and her young granddaughter begin to develop a devoted bond.

📚Copies of our chosen books are available from the library counter.
