Join BookPeople for one day to rule them all and a party of special magnificence as we celebrate The Lord of the Rings Day!

This event is free and open to the public with festivities all day from 9AM to 9PM, with certain events scheduled throughout the day.

We highly encourage you to come in costume as we transport you to Middle-Earth.

Scavenger Hunt

All day you can go on a Tolkien-Themed Scavenger Hunt and look for Leaves of Lórien throughout our store. If you complete the hunt, you'll earn yourself a BookPeople Coupon for use at our store!

Beer Tasting with Blue Owl Brewing

Show off your broadest and your obscurest Lord of the Rings knowledge in our free trivia hosted by host of , and author of , Shawn E. Marchese. Winners will receive special prizes from BookPeople.

Please note that an RSVP for either the costume contest or trivia will not guarantee entry—admittence to these events will be based on capacity and first-come-first-served with regard to arrival. We recommend arriving early to secure a spot!
