BookPeople Presents: Abigail Silva - Mis Poderes Maravillosos

Please welcome Abigail Silva in a special storytime to celebrate the bilingual book Mis Poderes Maravillosos/ My Wonderful Powers!

This event is free and open to the public.

• Start time: 10:30 a.M.
• Run time: 20-30 minutes, followed by a signing line.
• Location: The second floor of BookPeople.

The author will be signing and personalizing copies of the book after the speaking portion of the event.

• To get a book signed, a copy of the event book or an item of equal value must be purchased from BookPeople.
• For high volume events, post-talk signing lines can become very long. For such events, we recommend arriving and checking in to the event early as that will get you into an earlier signing group.

About the author:

Abigail Silva is an author and speech-language therapist with a master’s degree in Special Education. She is the author of Mi pequeño gran líder (Spanish-language parenting book), an award-winning title recognized by ILBA 2023 as Best Book for Parents.

She has also written children’s books including My Wonderful Powers (bilingual) and Camila al rescate (Spanish), both focused on emotional development and empowerment. Her most recent book, Doña Lengüichis: The Sounds of Speech, is designed for teachers and speech-language therapists, offering practical tools to support early speech and language development.

Through her work, Abigail is passionate about fostering a love of books, language, and meaningful parent-child connection.
