This event will explore why it’s important to keep good records, how great bookkeeping can save you time and money, how you can select a software for your business bookkeeping, and five top tips to make sure you get things right every time

Over the course of this workshop, you will:

- Understand what ‘Making Tax Digital’ is

- What to consider when selecting your software

- The five fundamentals of great bookkeeping

- How to pay yourself from your small business

- What tax you might pay and when

- What constitutes an allowable business expense

Your host Sarah has 10 years’ experience as Managing Director of IN Accountancy, themselves a small owner-managed business, based in South Manchester. IN Accountancy looks after a wide range of individuals and owner-managed businesses, helping them to understand and keep on top of the numbers that really matter in their businesses.

Sarah herself is not an accountant, tax adviser or bookkeeper. Having started her career with Adidas, where she had several senior leadership roles in marketing, sales, business process reengineering and strategic planning. Sarah then ran a successful business coaching and consultancy company, before finding herself at the helm of IN Accountancy.
