Bookbinding Workshop | Women In Design

Join for an evening of tactile making and community connection at our Bookbinding Workshop. Hosted at Fresh Consulting’s Bellevue studio, over pizza and drinks, you’ll learn to craft a saddle-stitch multimedia sketchbook— perfect for your upcoming 2026 projects!

We’ll provide everything you need to bind your books. To add a personal touch, we’ll have block print stamps available for you to decorate and customize your cover. As a special takeaway, every attendee will also receive a laser-cut hole-punching jig that doubles as a bookmark, making it easy to continue bookbinding at home.

Whether you’re a seasoned designer or just craft-curious, come enjoy a chill evening and connect with Seattle’s vibrant design community.

• 6:00 PM: Doors Open | Grab a drink, some food, and chat.
• 6:30 PM: Welcome | A quick hello from the WID team and our hosts.
• 6:45 PM: Making & Mingling | Pierce, bind, and decorate your sketchbook.
• 8:15 PM: Wrap Up | Put on your finishing touches.
