About this Event
Four people on the Red Line experience a sudden stop in a tunnel. As they deal with this stressful situation, they have to face each other and themselves. The Commute is a gripping and humorous play about what it means to be human under extraordinary circumstances. Is there a way out?
This is a staged reading, which means actors will be reading from the script. It will be followed by a talk-back with the playwright and the director. This is your opportunity to ask questions about the play and what inspired it. The audience will also be able to ask questions of Dr. Marni Chanoff, a Harvard-affiliated, integrative psychiatrist who is the founder and CEO of Joy in Health. How does fear govern our lives? How would we react in a crisis? Is there a way to know?
