About this Event
Join photographer Federico Rios Escobar (@historiassencillas) as he presents his latest photobook, Darién, at the BDC. Documenting the journey of migrants who cross the dangerous Darién Gap, between Colombia and Panama, it is a moving photographic account that lays bare the human cost of achieving the American Dream for migrants from countries like Venezuela, China, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Haiti. Rios will share his work and speak about the years he spent covering this grueling leg of the migrant journey through the Americas. Published by Raya Editorial (@rayaeditorial).
