Book Swap Brunch in Toronto

Join us for a delightful Book Swap and Three- course Brunch event! Make friends in Toronto. Organised by the Gulmohar Club, a South-Asian club for women in Toronto & GTA, this event is exclusively open for women.

Book Swap Details:
Bring a new or gently used book covered up, we love an element of surprise. Write a short description on top for the next reader to enjoy. Include details like the genre and some hints to intrigue fellow book lovers. We'll place the books in a basket, and each participant will select one book to take home. We'll continue swapping until everyone has their next captivating read! To make it more fun, we'll add some last- minute twists for you. It's the perfect way to make friends who share the same love for reading as you.

Brunch Details:

Our brunch will be held at Curryish Tavern, offering a special curated 3-course menu.
Choose between a delicious vegetarian brunch or a savory non-vegetarian option as your main. We'll have a unique appetizer and a dessert to remember for days along with that. Your ticket includes tea or coffee as well. A first of its kind brunch menu, bold and flavourful food paired with seasonal ingredients. It's the kind of food that leaves your heart feeling full!

What to expect:

We aim to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all our attendees. This event will have limited capacity to ensure all attendees have the opportunity to interact with each other and make friends. A preset menu has been curated for The Gulmohar Club with Chef Miheer.
