Sheila Quinn Delony, a former ACU professor, is a writer and life coach in Franklin, Tenn. Sheila grew up in West Texas and spent time in Eastern New Mexico listening to her grandmother's stories. This historical novel takes place on the Texas-New Mexico border in the 1920s. One reviewer said that she "braids the triple skeins of Western, romance and postwar novel into a story of one young woman's coming of age."
