Join us as we welcome back local author Doreen Oberg to Bisbee Books & Music.Doreen currently lives with her husband, Gary, in Sierra Vista, AZ and teaches piano part time at Cochise Community College. She holds a master’s in music from Southern Methodist University. In addition, she holds a master’s in education/counseling from Northwest Nazarene University and has obtained licensure as a professional counselor in both Oregon and Arizona.
Her full-time job as a licensed behavioral health therapist and part time musician keeps her quite occupied. Her husband is a social worker for a hospice agency in town and an avid motorcyclist. Two of Doreen’s motorcycle magazine articles are available online at the BMW ON September 2017 and May 2021 editions.
Doreen’s first fiction novel, Skyland The Mars Colony is available Bisbee Books and Music. Her second book Mile Markers a Memoir is available through Jan-Carol Publishing. Both publications are available through Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.
