Award winning author Carron Montgomery will be here to sign and sell her award winning book The Invisible Riptide. It is for children and adults alike. It is all about "Navigating the Emotional Current of the World". Carron is a Kansas City author and a licensed professional counselor specializing om trauma work. Her holistic approach reduces the power differential between parents, teachers, and children as part of a collaborative healing process. She is also a registered play therapist and is Level II certified on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.I love the fact that she used a Dsylexia-friendly font. the illustrations were done by Amy Koenig. She uses fun colors and her illustrations are perfect for this book. The book is published by Satiama publishing.
