On Saturday May 11th from 1 - 3pm, join us for an unforgettable Mother's Day celebration that combines the cozy allure of books with the mesmerizing charm of candle crafting and the sweet, inviting theme of Door County Cherries. "Pages, Pours & Cherries" is a Mother's Day event designed to honor the incredible mothers in our lives by engaging them in an afternoon filled with warmth, creativity, literary exploration, and cherry-themed delights. Participants will have the opportunity to meet and interact with beloved local author Ann Hazelwood, partake in a personalized book signing session, and indulge in the unique experience of crafting their own cherry scented candles!
Ann will be signing all books, with a special emphasis on QUILTED CHERRIES which will be available for purchase here at the shop! Other Hazelwood titles will be available for purchase and signing as well. Readers have shared, "I have loved this whole series. Ann is a great writer like talking to an old friend!" as well as, "I love Ann Hazelwood's quilt novels! They are always so fun to read!"
Whether you're an avid book reader, a candle craft enthusiast, or simply seeking a memorable way to celebrate Mother's Day, this event promises a blend of activities that cater to diverse interests and provide a cherished, bonding experience for mothers and their loved ones.
Our candle bartenders will be available to help all pourers come up with unique, cherry themed scents or any other scents they’d like to pour! Cost for the Candle Bar is $39 plus tax per guest.
