Book of David Release Show

Dunaway Books is proud to welcome Chicago writer and head of indie press Maudlin House, Mallory Smart, in support of the release of her new book, Book of David (House of Vlad, 2026), a slick, brilliantly written and wildly creative collection of horror adjacent short fiction that reads like a well-paced novel. Hosted by our very own Daniel W. Wright, Mallory will be joined by local writers RC Patterson, T. James Chapman, and returning to St. Louis for this special event, Jesse Eikmann. Doors at 7:00. Reading at 7:30. No cover.
