Join Black Pear Press authors Io Osborn and Michael W. Thomas as they launch their new poetry collections into the world.
Io will be reading from her collection, Tug of Love and War, to showcase poems that contend with family, memory, conflict and love, where Io explores what legacy truly is, and how one succeeds in leaving such a thing behind.
Meanwhile, Michael will be reading from his newest collection, A Time for Such a Word, where memory and insight are fused together to explore character, landscape, and gentle curiosities on life.
There will be signed copies of both collections available at this event. Refreshments will also be available for attendees to purchase from the Script Haven café. We hope to see you all there on September 29.
