In The Double Tax, Anna takes readers on a journey to uncover the everyday costs women face simply for existing. Drawing from conversations with hundreds of women and grounded in research, she reveals how women spend more money, time, and effort than men — and how the gap grows even wider for Black women. From beauty and motherhood to career and retirement, Anna exposes the hidden price tags of womanhood and charts a bold path forward that centers women without leaving anyone behind.
