Join us for a book launch with author James Mitchell for his new book, A New Blueprint for Government: Reshaping Power, the PMO, and the Public Service, which reflects James and co-author Kevin Lynch’s combined fifty years of experience in high level roles in the public service and what they feel government needs to do to meet the challenges Canadians face domestically (a productivity crisis, a cost of living crisis, and an aging population) as well as internationally (tariffs, threats to sovereignty, etc...)

The author will be featured in conversation with panelists Graham Flack, Allen Sutherland, and Jennifer Robson on November 17th at 11am. Info: Jim Mitchell, who was raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, has worked as an academic, a senior public servant, and a consultant. He served 17 years in government, first as a diplomat and then as a senior official in the Privy Council Office and the Treasury Board Secretariat. Over the years he has published articles on public policy and public management and has given numerous lectures and speeches to Public Service and university audiences.
