Join us for a book launch party with local author Yasmin Angoe for her new book and YA debut, "She Drinks The Light".Hailing from Northern Virginia, Yasmin Angoe is a first-generation Ghanaian American who grew up in two cultural worlds. She is a former middle and high school English teacher and instructional coach for virtual teachers. Besides eventually fulfilling her childhood dream of becoming a published writer, she enjoys working with other writers as a development editor and book coach. Yasmin lives in South Carolina with her husband their children.

Addae has spent her whole life on the Golden Isle, a private island off the coast of South Carolina that has been in her family for centuries.
