About this Event

Book Launch Party for Still the Eldest Daughter
Join us as we celebrate local author, Kaylin Weir and the release of debut poetry collection, Still the Eldest Daughter: Poems for Recovering Perfectionists.

Still the Eldest Daughter is a collection for the helpers, peacekeepers, overachievers, and anyone who became responsible before they were ready. Through poems on perfectionism, motherhood, grief, ambition, family, and learning to live with uncertainty, Still the Eldest Daughter explores what happens when the person who always held it all together begins to ask who they're doing it for. For anyone who learned to earn their worth. And anyone learning they don't have to.

Tickets are available in two options:

  • $10 — Admission for one guest
  • $20 — Admission for two guests and one signed copy of Still the Eldest Daughter

Additional signed copies of the book will be available for purchase during the event.
