Marie Zhuikov is a poet, fiction writer, blogger, and photographer who is a science communicator emeritus for the University of Wisconsin Sea Grant Program. She has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in science journalism with a minor in biology from the University of Minnesota. Marie’s poems and short stories have appeared in several anthologies and community projects. She has written numerous books which have won several awards. Marie lives in Duluth, Minnesota, with her husband.
