Join Chez Zee American Bistro’s Texas Authors Series and Women Vote! group for an engaging evening with former Secretary of the Interior and U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Ken Salazar as he discusses his new memoir, Borderlands: My Fight for an Inclusive America.
Secretary Salazar’s distinguished career has given him a unique perspective on many of the defining issues of our time. He has served as Colorado Attorney General, United States Senator, U.S. Secretary of the Interior under President Barack Obama, and most recently as U.S. Ambassador to Mexico.
Drawing on decades of public service—and a family history in Colorado’s San Luis Valley dating back centuries—he will share insights on U.S.–Mexico relations, the border, immigration, public service, and the personal experiences that inspired his new memoir, Borderlands: My Fight for an Inclusive America.
The reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. Interview with Secretary Salazar will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by audience questions and book signing.
