About this Event
This event is to launch the book Devolution in Greater Manchester and Liverpool City Region. It will also consider the progress of these two new mayoral combined authorities alongside the fate of the wider Levelling Up Project. Professors Georgina Blakeley and Brendan Evans will introduce their new book in a short presentation before asking Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham and Liverpool City Labour Councillor Liam Robinson to reflect on the main lessons from the research. The discussion will be chaired by Andrew Carter of Centre for Cities.
