Dr. Palisa Williams Rushin is an author, former vice president of student development and enrollment management, and small business co-owner of Rushin Homes and Associates, LLC. She is a dynamic speaker who is passionate about uplifting and empowering others to overcome. Dr. Rushin earned her doctorate degree at the age of 26 from Indiana University, Bloomington. She pursued a career in higher education, particularly the community college to help advance first generation college students, those who have been marginalized, and those who are underprepared due to life circumstances and a lack of resources. Dr. Rushin believes that the purpose of life is to live a life of purpose. She resides in Kentucky with her husband of over 30 years and is the proud mother of a son and daughter.
