BOOK LAUNCH :
Jonathan Andrews speaks of “making peace with dragons”. He’s got a Knight’s heart but he’s his own hero.
A passionate Youth Mental Health Champion and Award-Winning Speaker, Jonathan challenges young men to rip off their masks and reveal themselves to the world in order to make it (and them) stronger. He wants to remove the shame and stigma of mental health and reveal it for the growth opportunity it can be.
After being clinically diagnosed with depression and anxiety in high school, he knew that he himself had to shift and change to heal. He turned that healing into a mission… for all men, just like him, hiding in the shadows and afraid of their own dragons.
He dove into entrepreneurship programs and even became a Distinguished Toastmaster, Toastmasters International highest honour, in 2018. With less than 1% of Toastmasters achieving this designation, Jonathan credits this experience combined with entrepreneurship programs in leveraging what would become his legacy.
Founding Your Mental Health Ally and Project Circle Up became a mission for Jonathan as he inspired hundreds of men, struggling with their own mental health and place in this world to choose themselves (and each other).
By removing the masks of masculinity, Jonathan inspired young men to find community, peace, and truth within themselves.
Jonathan designed a life of community service. He has become a highly sought-after Speaker delivering hundreds of presentations to tens of thousands of youth worldwide. Educational institutions and major corporate brands alike have given Jonathan a mic and a stage.
He continues to dedicate his time, energy, and resources to organizations inspiring and uplifting youth mental health including the Special Olympics Ontario, Healthy Minds Canada, Sterling Institute of Relationships, and Canada’s leading charity for youth mental health education, Jack.org.
In 2020, Jonathan founded Project Circle Up, which includes a 10-week virtual wellness program with participants graduating across North and South America, Europe, and the Middle East.
His Podcast, Project Circle Up, aims at amplifying empowered masculinity by featuring the mental health journeys of men globally. His Podcast has achieved a global ranking as one of the top 10% most popular shows out of more than 2.5 million podcasts.
Join us on Sunday November 7th at 7pm at The Life to Paper Book Festival to celebrate and discuss Jonathan Andrews' debut book, designed to change the way men talk, think, and feel about their mental health.
