About this Event

All Book Fringe events are FREE in person + online | no tickets required (but you can reserve them here to get a book/reminder of the event & help us have enough seats for everyone)

Our cities need to change to adapt to our lived realities - and our rapidly approaching futures. Political instability, climate change, war and community all change what we need and how our built environment needs to accommodate us.

In How To Build a City Gabriella Bennett takes us on a globe-trotting journey to learn how we are reimagining home to embrace the challenges of contemporary living. From political instability to wildfires, flooding and an increased pressure on materials and space, the built environment is under threat like never before.

Come along for a moment of reflection and imagination around what it means to have a safe home in our current world.

This event will be 30 mins followed by audience questions and signing. Please feel free to attend any or all of these depending on your capacity!
