Another month, another bang-up-line-up of writers reading their work! Join us for the next Book Drop to celebrate books by:ABAYOMI ANIMASHAUN is the author of three poetry collections and editor of three anthologies. He is the founder and director of Immigrant Writing at Black Lawrence Press. A winner of the Hudson Prize and recipient of a grant from the International Center for Writing and Translation, Animashaun is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.
LEWIS FREEDMAN is a poet who tried to write this bio yesterday but couldn't, in the way he sometimes just can't write things, for reasons he doesn't understand. Today he is sitting at a desk in Milwaukee trying again. He is the author of *Residual Synonyms for the Name of God* and *I Want Something Other Than Time* (both from Ugly Duckling Presse) as well as many chapbooks, most recently Eternal Balsamic Contract (Spiral Editions) and Eating It All (Ben Tinterstices). A handwritten edition of the book *I Want Something Other Than Time* is forthcoming from Ugly Duckling Presse this November.
HOLLY WILSON is the author of the novel *Kittentits.* Her short fiction has appeared in Narrative Magazine, Redivider, Northwest Review, Short Story, New Stories from the South, and elsewhere. She was a Kingsbury Fellow at Florida State University, where she received a PhD in Creative Writing. She grew up in Kansas and currently makes her home in Fort Atkinson, WI, where she lives with her son. She’s an associate professor of creative writing at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
