Join local sustainable food advocate Peter Ruddock outside in the Courtyard of the Gilroy Library for a lively discussion of the book Endangered Eating: America's Vanishing Foods by author Sarah Lohman.
Lohman travels the country learning about the distinct ingredients at risk of being lost. Animated by stories yet grounded in historical research, she gives readers the tools to support community food organizations & producers that work to preserve local culinary traditions and rare, cherished foods ― before it’s too late.
This discussion will be held outside in the newly remodeled Courtyard of the Gilroy Library. Everyone is welcome. Books are available for checkout at the Gilroy Library.
