For June we are reading The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow
New York Times Best Seller - An alternate-history feminist fantasy set in 1893. It follows three estranged sisters who reunite to fight for women’s suffrage, uncover forgotten magical lore hidden in nursery rhymes, and bring magic back to a patriarchal society that deemed witches extinct.

Q: Will we need to order the book ahead of time?
A: Yes we do not offer copies of books. Books can be purchased at Hemlock Haus, your nearest bookstore, or online.
Q: Will I need to read the book beforehand to attend?
A: No - come as you are if you didn't have a chance to read or finish the book. Just be prepared for spoilers 😉
Q: How long is book club?
A: Book club starts at 6pm. Expect it to last around 90+ mins.
Q: Should I bring a snack?
A: Not required but if you have snacks to share, bring them over.
Q: Is it free or are there “dues”?
A: We are keeping our book coven free. Our intention is to build community amongst like-minded individuals. So if you are into witchy things and books, join us!
