Join us for a cozy, creative workshop for crocheters of all skill levels — yes, even beginners! — to take part in the viral Book Blanket trend. With Bizzy of Lilibet Crafty Co. you’ll learn how to crochet a granny square inspired by the cover of a book you’ve read, then start building a collection of squares that will become your 2026 Book Blanket. Each participant will go home with a crochet hook to continue stitching squares for all their 2026 reads, and we’ll also cover the basics of joining your squares together into a finished blanket. Whether you’re brand new to granny squares or you’ve made a hundred of them, this is a welcoming, low-pressure space to stitch, learn, and create alongside fellow book lovers.
We’ll be joined by More Than Words offering books for sale, so you can pick your next read (or be inspired on the spot!) while you crochet. There will be plenty of time to chat about favorite books, current reads, and recommendations as you work — think of it as part craft night, part book club, and part cozy hangout. Come for the yarn, stay for the stories, and leave with a square that’s as meaningful as it is beautiful.
This workshop is Sun, Feb 15 1pm-3:30pm at the Unglued Craftatorium at Brewhalla - 1702 1st Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102 (attached to Drekker Brewing - you'll find this workshop room on Brewhalla's 2nd floor!). This workshop is for ages middle school (16-years-old) through adult. Each attendee must be a ticket holder.
Your registration includes: supplies and instruction to start to create the book club blanket!

Refund policy: We know plans can change! If you need to change plans please email us at [email protected] at least 72 hours prior to workshop start to receive a full refund. After that, we don't give refunds as supplies are already purchased unless if we are able to utilize a wait list based on demand, but you can transfer it to another person!
Please note a minimum of 8 participants is required so if we don't reach that by 24 hours prior to the event you will be notified by email and refunded.
