During the workshop, you'll learn various techniques for binding books, creating your own unique designs, and tips for maintaining your creations. Our experienced instructor - Johnny Gamber from Pencil Revolution Press, will guide you through each step, ensuring you leave with a beautiful handmade book to cherish.

Pencil Revolution Press LLC is a small bookbinding and zine publishing company that started out as a blog in 2005, a zine in 2020, and became Straight Legit in 2022. All books are made by hand, in Baltimore City, with extra care and heart.

Johnny Gamber is a Baltimore native, caffeine lover, sure-footed walker, bad speller, and a co-host of The Erasable Podcast since its inception in March 2014.

When not binding books, he enjoys reading, writing, British detective programs, and browsing Instagram bookbinders for hours and hours.
