Join us for a cozy, interactive afternoon designed for book lovers who want to meet like-minded readers, swap recommendations, and connect over the stories that shaped them.

This is not traditional speed dating — it’s a bookish twist on connection, where every conversation starts with something you already love: books.

💌 What to Expect

We’ll kick things off with a relaxed welcome + book drop-off, make our beverage orders (free with your ticket!), and then move into 4 rounds of book bestie speed dating.

You’ll rotate tables every round, meeting new people and chatting through curated book prompts designed to spark real conversation (no awkward small talk required).

Each round features fresh prompts like:

• favourite books & comfort reads
• tropes you love (or avoid 👀)
• characters you still think about
• book opinions you’re not afraid to defend

At the end of the event, we’ll gather together for a cozy group moment where:

• everyone chooses a book from the book swap pile (if you brought one to swap)
• you’ll share why you chose it based on the prompts
• we’ll reveal who your book came from 👀
• do a raffle for a bookish goodie bag
• and celebrate the connections made throughout the afternoon

Think: emotional, fun, slightly chaotic in the best way.

After the reveal, guests will have time to:

• exchange social media (if they want!)
• take photos
• hang out with their new book friends

• 1 wrapped book (gently used or new — something you’d recommend!)
• On your wrapped book, be sure to write some clues as to what's underneath the wrapping!
• A good vibe + book opinions you’re ready to overshare

Info: There will be four rounds (10-12 mins each). After each round, you will go to the next table on your itinerary (tables are numbered).

Info: Each person will pick a book from the swap table, and we’ll all unwrap together, and then reveal which ones we got!
