There are nights when words leap from the page, burning brighter than flame—when voices intertwine and spark, igniting laughter, reflection, and applause among a spirited crowd. One such night is fast approaching in the heart of Sacramento.

Who will reign supreme—the lady poets or the gents? There’s only one way to find out: let the audience decide.

The evening boasts an exceptional roster of featured poets:

· Mario Ellis Hill – Known for his rhythmic delivery and evocative storytelling, Mario brings a depth of emotion and a pulse of urban wisdom to every performance.

· Sequoia Woodard – With a voice that can soothe or scorch, Sequoia’s poetry explores identity, resilience, and longing.

· J. Rowe – Quick-witted and bold, J. Rowe’s spoken word is a study in contrasts: delicate yet fierce, playful yet profound. Her performances often blur boundaries.

· Jimmy So Blessed – Radiating positivity, Jimmy’s work is a celebration of life’s triumphs and trials.

· Miss T – Commanding the stage with charisma and conviction, Miss T is never afraid to tackle difficult topics.

· Patrick Grizzell – A Sacramento stalwart, Patrick’s performances blend warmth and gravitas, offering both comfort and confrontation in equal measure.
