Bones & Beauty: A Resin Jewelry Workshop with The Dead Moon Studio

Friday, June 26th at 8:00 PM
Hill House Parlor | Salem, MA

Step into an evening where beauty meets the macabre and create a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art inspired by nature, folklore, and curiosity.

Join The Dead Moon Studio for an intimate, hands-on resin jewelry workshop where you'll learn the art of preserving tiny treasures in resin. Whether you're drawn to delicate florals, sparkling gems, rich colors, or ethically sourced bones, you'll have the opportunity to design a piece that is entirely your own.

During this 90-minute workshop, you'll be guided through the resin jewelry-making process from start to finish. We'll explore the materials used, share tips and techniques for working with UV resin, and walk through a step-by-step demonstration before you begin creating.

Each guest will choose to create either:

  • A resin pendant necklace
  • A fully adjustable resin ring

You'll then select your design elements from a curated collection of materials, including:

  • Ethically sourced bones and shark teeth
  • Rattlesnake vertebrae
  • Coyote toe bones
  • Dried flowers
  • Color dyes
  • Glitter
  • Gems and decorative embellishments

Prefer a softer aesthetic? Bones are completely optional, and guests are welcome to create floral or botanical-inspired pieces instead.

Once your design is complete, the Dead Moon Studio team will help finish your jewelry. Necklace creations will be assembled with a jump ring and chain before you leave.

Important Notes
  • All bones and specimens are ethically sourced.
  • Ring bases are fully adjustable.
  • Jewelry bezels are made from hypoallergenic alloy metals.
  • We will be working with UV resin; guests are welcome to apply sunscreen to their hands if desired.
  • No prior experience is necessary.

Tickets: $100 per person
Limited to just 10 participants

Whether you're a lover of oddities, nature, witchcraft, gothic beauty, or simply enjoy creating with your hands, Bones & Beauty offers a unique opportunity to craft something beautiful, meaningful, and entirely your own.
