Bonafide Blues & Jazz - Featuring Keith “The Captain” Gamble

Room 52 is presenting Wednesday Night Blues & Jazz Shows starting February 4th with Harlem’s own Keith “The Captain” Gamble. His heart and soul are rooted in the BLUES and, there will be special guest appearances with some of NYC’s most prominent Blues musicians & singers….. 

Keith is the most well-known Blues Guitarist in Harlem NYC and, performs at all of Harlem’s live music venues. He’s bringing his versatile show to Room 52.

Keith ‘The Captain’ completed a three-nation European tour, performed at the Debrecen Jazz Festival outside of Budapest, and from Pari,s participated in a US Embassy tour in Lusaka, Zambia.  The Captain had again been commissioned by the US State Department, this time, to perform at the W.E.B. Dubois Center in Ghana, honoring President Barack Obama

In addition to giving seminars on The Blues, he co-wrote the documentary “From the Root to the Fruit – A Chronicle of the Blues”, then later staged it as a musical production. The Captain was also the male vocalist and lead guitarist for the “Mile High Club” band that served as the house band for ABC’s “The View”.

Now, Room 52 is proud to announce, The Captain will be making NYC more exciting by bringing his shows to Room 52 on certain Wednesday’s starting February 4th.
