Get ready for the delicious operatic take on a classic episode of Julia Child’s popular television show. Mezzo soprano Christine Meadows returns as the flamboyant master chef, teaching the makings of a classic French chocolate cake – Le Gâteau au Chocolat L’Éminence Brune! This concert will also feature brilliant songs by Lee Hoiby, written for Leontyne Price and his song cycle Three Ages of Woman. Two performances:
