Bomphcast presents Jacobworld (OOM, Format Records)

Bomphcast is proud to present Jacobworld (OOM, Format Records) in another late-night situation at Sub Club Melbourne, featuring extended sets from Jacobworld, DJ Kiti and Fergus Sweetland.

Jacobworld is unquestionably one of the most exciting techno artists Australia has produced in recent years, with his cavernous, driving, agitated sounds also carving a notch into the global scene. Having defined himself by retrofitting old-school rhythms and processes, Jacob lets his music do the talking, maintaining a very humble and quiet public profile.

His efforts in the studio have earned him solo releases on Dutch labels OOM and Format Records, additionally contributing to Remco Beekwilder’s Emerald label, Berlin’s OECUS, and of course, Bomphcast Audio.

DJ Kiti and Fergus Sweetland will bring their iconic, swinging styles on either side of Jacob's set; nestling him perfectly alongside local talent.

The DJ booth will be positioned in the middle of Sub Club's basement to bring the focus back on the music and help to remove the barriers that arises with a separation of stage and dancefloor - a tradition at Bomphcast events.

Enjoying moments of pure dance and energy is what Bomphcast is all about. Phone cameras will be covered with stickers at the door to ensure that you enjoy the moment. Please respect our policy and share in a love of electronic music together, during this special night.
