The Academy of Music Theatre is excited to present an extraordinary performance by Bomba de Aquí, as part of its Season Series. On October 12, 2024, at 7:30 PM, experience an exhilarating evening showcasing the pulsating rhythms and vibrant dances of Afro-Puerto Rican traditions on the Academy’s historic stage located at 274 Main Street, Northampton, MA.Under the artistic direction of Brendalíz Cepeda, granddaughter of the legendary bomba figure Rafael Cepeda, and the musical direction of Saul Peñalosa, Bomba de Aquí offers an unforgettable celebration of Puerto Rican arts and culture. This electrifying performance highlights the rich cultural heritage of Puerto Rico through music and dance, captivating audiences with its energy and passion.
Tickets for the general public are priced at $18.00 ($22.89 after fees) and can be purchased online, in person, or over the phone.
