Hello Desi Family & Allies! It's time for a Desi/South Asian summer party extravaganza! What better time to celebrate than August 15, India/Pakistans Independence Day, and the nicest weather month in Seattle!
Melamenz Bollywood Nights presents: "*Sari not Sorry, Unapologetically Queer Desi & Allies*". 9pm to 2am.
*NEW VENUE*: We are thrilled to announce a hot new Desi-owned venue on Broadway right next to Neighbors called: *Spice Bar*. (1515 Broadway) Bonus: If you get hungry just cross the street for amazing indian food at Spice Bliss! Get ready for incredible lighting, sound, at a perfect location!
We will have DJ KP & DJ FJB spinning Bollywood fusion, DesiHop, and Bhangra! Plus live performance from the finest Desi talent in Seattle! There will be a raffle/lucky draw (included w/ticket price) and a Sari contest with two prizes for *"Best Sari"*, ALL genders/identities encouraged to enter contest.
