About this Event

Experience a 90-minute tasting featuring radicchio-inspired dishes from seven local chefs.

Bold Flavours: A Radicchio Pop-Up Event celebrates one of BC’s great fall crops and the farmers and chefs who bring it to our tables.

Hosted by Chef Andrea Carlson of Burdock & Co., Bold Flavours brings together seven chefs for an evening exploring radicchio and its many varieties. Each chef will prepare a tasting that showcases their own approach to this locally grown fall vegetable.

Inspired by FarmFolk CityFolk’s Feast of Fields, the evening brings chefs, farmers and guests together around local food, with a chance to taste something new and learn a little more about the people growing food in BC.

Featured Chefs:

  • Chef Andrea Carlson, Burdock & Co.
  • Chef Josh Blumenthal, Oxeye (Galiano Island)
  • Chef Adina Guest, Loves Galettes (Salt Spring Island)
  • Chef Margaux Herder, Chez Céline
  • Chef Akira Kishimoto, Kishimoto Restaurant
  • Chef Kensa Ku, Yakitori Kohna
  • Chef Tushar Tondvalkar, Kavita Restaurant

Choose from one of three tasting times

  • Dusk Tasting (5:00 - 6:30 pm)
  • Evening Tasting (6:30 - 8:00 pm)
  • Late Night Tasting (8:00 - 9:30 pm)

Each 90-minute tasting includes seven chef-prepared tastes, along with a souvenir Feast of Fields cedar tasting plank. Beverage details will be announced soon.

Tickets are $60 per person + Eventbrite fees.
