It's BACK! After a successful 1st Annual Bok Kai Car Show were back and it's even better this year! This year we will have a multi-cutural festival featuring Kung Fu Demos, Chinese Dancing, Chinese Singing, and Lion Dancing!
The Bok Kai Car Show is NOT just another car show! Did you know that the Bok Kai Festival & Parade is the oldest continuous parade & festival at 144 years... in fact, it's older than the "Grand Daddy" of them all the "Rose Parade" in Pasadena. The Bok Kai car show will be held "smack dab" in the middle of Historic Marysville Chinatown, Other events which will be held the same day will be the Cultural Festival, the historic "Bomb Day" festivities, and much more! If your a history buff here's your chance to also see a temple which as existed since 1880 and the Moo Lung Dragon which was the 1st dragon brought into the USA from China with a original purchase price of $575 in 1890 ($19,000 in todays money). Moo Lung is arguably the oldest Chinese dragon in existence in the world with only 1 in Australia which may be older.
