Boise Straight Ahead Jazz Big Band

Presented by the Idaho Jazz Education Endowment

Boise Straight Ahead was formed in 1997 and has been providing big band jazz to Idaho audiences ever since. They love this uniquely American sound and wish to keep this vibrant music alive by honoring the many great performers and composers that gave us these great songs. The band focuses on playing community events in the Treasure Valley and has donated all their performance fees to local non-profits like United Way, Meals on Wheels, Boys & Girls Clubs and Idaho Botanical Gardens. To date, the band has generated more than $100,000 in donations to these organizations. This all-volunteer ensemble seeks to bring their audiences an enjoyable time of listening to this terrific musical genre. They look forward to entertaining the guests at the Sapphire Room in 2025. ____________________________________________________________________________________

With the purchase of a ticket, Sapphire guests are eligible for The Riverside Hotel's "Sapphire Getaway" for $179 + tax. This rate is available for the night of the Sapphire Room show and includes a standard hotel room (double occupancy) and breakfast for two the following morning. To reserve, please call the Riverside Hotel front desk at 208-343-1871. The Sapphire Getaway rate is subject to availability and blackout dates. It will not be available for every show.
