75 years ago, the first Moluccans arrived in the Netherlands — a history of hope, loss and connection. This concert is a tribute to that journey.

BOI AKIH brings together ancient Moluccan chant with jazz, groove and improvisation. Monica Akihary (Boy Edgar Prize 2023) and Niels Brouwer form the creative core, alongside the beloved voices of Julya Lo'ko and Maria Lekranty, the rhythmic power of Viqtor Lekranty, the bass of David de Marez Oyens and Mark Milan on keys. Musicians who carry the Moluccan musical tradition and pass it on to new generations.
An evening to remember, to feel and to be together — through music that lives, breathes and connects.
