Bodywork Basics: Hands-On Skills for Doulas & Perinatal Professionals
Join us for an interactive 90-minute workshop focused on practical, hands-on techniques for supporting comfort, balance, and relaxation during pregnancy and labor.
We’ll explore the Spinning Babies' Three Sisters of Balance, foundational rebozo techniques, counterpressure, hip squeezes, and simple massage techniques for the hands, feet, scalp, and face. You’ll have time to practice each technique, receive feedback, and learn how to adapt your touch to the needs of each client—while also protecting your own hands, wrists, and body.
This workshop is intended for doulas, childbirth educators, and other perinatal professionals who want to feel more confident providing hands-on support. No previous bodywork experience is required.
