Voice educator and bodymind awareness coach Jingyun Ng (Jyn) is back from New York and synergises her work in vocal performance, psychosomatic wellness practices, and the Alexander Technique into this experiential workshop for vocalists
Recommended for:

• Singers aged 16 & above
• Singers who want to gain better vocal control, focus, and body awareness for more grounded and dynamic performances

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

Hone Bodymind-Voice Connection

• Through kinesthetic awareness, bodymapping, and mindful learning activities to become a more holistic and resilient vocalist.

Build an Embodied Awareness Toolkit

• Feel more grounded and energised for focused practice and dynamic performance

Synthesise Findings

• Gentle movement, visualisation and vocal exploration exercises, simple touch-based* work, and reflective discussion

*Important Note: For the touch-based work, participants will be invited to place their hands on areas such as their own upper and lower limbs, torso, and neck and face as tactile feedback for the activity. You can always opt out and an alternative will be provided. If it may be useful for you to receive hands-on feedback from Jingyun, she will first verbally walk you through what to expect, and you can decide whether you’d like to go ahead or opt for a different approach
