Melbourne 4 piece Bodyjar are not only a mainstay of the Australian music scene but a punk rock institution. Mined from the suburbs, heated in the fires of the big cities and tempered on the long roads of the Australian touring circuit, Bodyjar will return to Tasmania this September for the 25th anniversary of their genre defining album, How It Works.
The album's lead single “Not The Same” was a feature on the soundtrack for the wildly successful video game, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3. Exposing punks worldwide to the melodic power of Bodyjar’s singalong anthems while firmly cementing the band as one of Australia's most loved exports.
Bodyjar will be bringing their soaring melodies and palm muted riffs back to Tasmania as part of their national tour celebrating 25 years of How It Works with two huge shows on the island;
Friday 4th September at Pub Rock Diner Devonport, and Saturday 5th September at Altar Bar, Hobart.
